The process

A working approach has been created so that the process is primarily led by the individual. Support partnerships can be short-term to assist with specific, timely issues, or designed to deliver flexible ongoing support over the longer term.

The foundation is built on several Executive Coaching models combined with a structured methodology. A program may follow the workflow below.

 

Understanding what you want to work on may seem obvious but quite often there are a number of key priorities and areas of development. Taking time to get clear on these and deciding which to focus on is pivotal to successful outcomes. This session sets the course for the work ahead.

Now you know where you’re going you can set a course to get there. Taking time to explore the issue(s) in hand, deciding what success looks like, devising strategies to make change are central to this session. In addition, its useful to understand the resources and support required.

Having implemented some of the approaches above its time to interpret impacts. What has worked and why? Also reflecting on areas needing modification will usually be necessary with time required to test again. It’s not uncommon to revisit this session, together with the previous one, a number of times as different strategies are designed and tested.    

What has changed? What have you leant? Have you met your goals? Does anything else need to be included on your list of priorities? Where do you go from here?

These are all questions to consider. Depending on progress, the process may go back to Establishing the Agenda or may come to a natural end.    

Sessions typically last 1-2 hours, depending on requirements. A usual short-term program consists of 6 sessions over a 3-6 month period.    

A formal client agreement is generated for each engagement. Clarity is essential for both parties to confirm intentions and measure progress.

Time and freedom taken away from day-to-day work is vital for generating creative ideas and understanding your mindset. You will learn how best to develop, improve, overcome personal obstacles, and increase your capacities.  Becoming more comfortable operating outside natural comfort zones is a key outcome and is ultimately where all growth is achieved.

Overview

Flexibility and bespoke offerings are the basis of this approach. As no two individuals are the same, you will be guided through the process in alignment with your own personal development goals.

Support to identify ambitions is provided if necessary.

Online is preferred, although face to face is always an option.
